Here's a fresh idea you can take out there and validate.

Value Investing Book Club (πŸ—’Raw Notes)

Let's get away from all the robots and tech for a little bit. Have you heard of our lord and savior John "Jack" Bogle? If you haven't, check out r/bogleheads and prepare to have your mind blown.

As of now nearly 208,000 people are excited about passive investing via index funds, based on the theory and philosophy of Jack Bogle. They're a super engaged community, but they could be more.

💼 🧠 Create a parallel value investing community, focused around reading, thinking about and discussing classic value investing books.

This idea is easy to execute -- you should be able to 100% get there with no-code tools. Make landing page with Carrd, pay for a basic tier Discourse instance (or host it yourself on Digital Ocean), get a Stripe checkout page set up.

You might imagine it'd be hard to sell a bunch of hard core value investors on something like a paid book club, but remember that there is a massive range of investors who believe in this philosophy.

$100/year is a small amount to one investor, and a sizable chunk to another. Connecting to other like-minded investors with safe investing strategies similar to yours is priceless. Everyone can generally understand that charging for a community reduces the spam and makes people value it more.

NOTE Your competition here is the subreddit itself. You have to build an experience that's better/more interesting than simply going on the Subreddit (if someone decided to run a free reading series to mirror yours).

What's even better is that your audience is not only redditors/"internet people" -- there's a whole world of regular (and accredited) investors out there who would love to join a club like this.
