There's debate on the effectiveness of ESG, but what's become clear is that it's the most popular way for current governing bodies to incentivize economic activity.

Companies need to know (and broadcast) how they're delivering on their ESG goals, and often this data is valued more highly from an external source.

One of the great things about ESG is how easy it is to find companies that are doing it -- there are great resources out there which list involved companies and funds. This makes it easy to find the biggest players, and people who are most incentivized to track their ESG goals.

The only better place to look are public records of companies who have received ESG-related subsidies.

NOTE This idea can start simple -- calculating ESG impact can be a quite bespoke operation -- build spreadsheets, and tabulate manually, just as someone who was tasked to do this inside a company would do.

The fastest versions of this idea probably look like ESG consulting rather than a piece of software.
